Who I Am

I'm Fayeron Morrison, and I assist boards and leadership teams make sense of AI governance.

I spent 11 years at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) before transitioning into private industry, where I've advised companies through high-stakes financial situations, M&A transactions, complex audits, and fraud examinations. With more than 25 years as a CPA and CFE, I’ve worked at the intersection of governance, risk, and complex decision-making - in public accounting, inside corporate finance organizations, and for the past decade as a consultant.

I bring that Big 4 rigor and operational experience to AI governance and strategy, a field that desperately needs both to make sure that AI adoption happens with clear accountability, not just technical enthusiasm. As an AI Strategist, I translate between technical teams and boardrooms because I have seen what occurs when that gap isn't bridged - expensive mistakes, regulatory exposure, and boards blindsided by risks no one knew to ask about.

Why Elemental AI

AI isn't coming - it's here. Organizations are deploying chatbots, using generative AI tools, automating decisions, and fundamentally changing how they operate. But most boards are trying to govern this transformation without an understanding of what is actually taking place, what the risks are, or who's accountable when things go wrong.

I founded Elemental AI because this gap between AI adoption and AI governance is creating real exposure. The pace of change is unprecedented, and boards can't afford to wait until they fully understand the technology. They require governance structures now.

I completed Stanford's AI Leadership Program which deepened my technical fluency, and I serve as Co-Chair of the Private Directors Association's AI Special Interest Group Forum, where board members across the country are grappling with the same challenge: How do we provide meaningful oversight of something moving this fast?

This is what I do - I assist boards in establishing governance that matches the pace and scale of AI adoption. Not theoretical frameworks for the future, but practical oversight for what's happening right now. Big 4 rigor, operational reality, plain English.
